Welcome to Martha Winona’s new blog: Exploring the Path of the ‘Runa.’   

A Runa is a person who is choosing to learn from life, a person who is seeking harmony and balance, a person who has made a commitment to being of service, a person who is following spiritual practices that ‘dynamize‘ their being–bringing vital energy through every cell, activating both heart and mind, and inviting their ‘Ushai’ –their spiritual force– to grow.  

“Runa”–from the Norse, meaning a ‘charm,’ a potent energy of transformation

“Runa”–from the Sanskrit meaning a magician

“Runa”–from the Kichwa (Ecuador) meaning a fully-realized human being–one who activates the potential they are born with

Plant life, rushing streams, mountain air, radiant sunlight–these activate the vital forces that bring forth the Runa-self.  Within each person the vital masculine force–Pan–the Nature God; within each person the vital feminine force–Psyche–the Soul.  Not gender identity–but energy.
